Rogue Auto Body is a locally owned collision repair shop in Medford, Oregon, founded by Chava Perezchica and Mike Brockway in February 2025. Our team holds I-CAR Gold certification and Tru-Point Calibration certification, with a combined 75+ years of industry experience. Our Story: Built on 20 Years of Frustration with Corporate Shops

Chava Perezchica was born and raised in Medford, Oregon. For 20 years, he worked as a painter at New Stage Collision — learning the trade from the ground up, developing an eye for color and detail, and earning a reputation as one of the best painters in the Rogue Valley.

But over time, something started to bother him.

As larger corporate operators began acquiring independent shops, the focus shifted. The personal relationships, the honest conversations, the commitment to doing the job right — all of it started to fade. When New Stage Collision was eventually sold to a large multi-shop operator, Chava watched the shop he’d given two decades to lose the qualities that had made it worth working for.

That’s when he decided to build something better.

In February 2025, Chava partnered with Mike Brockway — a longtime friend and industry veteran who had built his own successful shop, Dabler Auto Body, in the Willamette Valley — to open Rogue Auto Body. The two first met over 20 years ago when Mike was working as a technical paint representative for BASF at Industrial Finishes in Eugene, and Chava was a young painter at an independent shop. Their shared passion for craftsmanship and quality sparked a friendship that eventually became a business partnership.

Today, Rogue Auto Body is what Chava always believed a body shop should be: honest, skilled, and focused on the customer — not the corporate bottom line.

Our Team

We are not a revolving door of unfamiliar faces. Chava has worked alongside most of our technicians for years, and he built this team because he trusts them — both the quality of their work and the way they treat customers.

Alberto Mares brings approximately 15 years of collision repair experience. He is a trusted member of the team whose attention to detail and consistency define the quality of work that comes out of our shop.

Brian Mulnickel has more than 20 years in the industry. His depth of experience across a wide range of vehicle types and repair situations makes him an anchor of our technical team.

Our shop manager brings over 35 years of collision repair experience — longer than most shops have been in business. That level of institutional knowledge means problems get solved correctly the first time, and nothing falls through the cracks.

I-CAR Gold Class Certified — The collision repair industry’s highest recognition for training and knowledge. I-CAR Gold Class shops maintain ongoing training requirements to ensure technicians stay current with evolving repair procedures and vehicle technology.

Tru-Point Calibration Certified — Certification in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) calibration, ensuring that safety systems including lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking, and blind spot monitoring are properly recalibrated after collision repair.

Subaru Certified Collision Repair Facility — Factory-trained and approved to repair Subaru vehicles to manufacturer specifications using genuine Subaru parts and approved repair methods.
