Our Story: Rogue Auto Body – Medford, Oregon
Rogue Auto Body was founded by longtime friends and seasoned industry professionals Mike Brockway and Chava Perezchica, who joined forces to bring top-quality auto body repair and custom paint services to the Medford, Oregon community.
Mike and Chava first met over 20 years ago in Eugene, Oregon, when Mike was working as a technical paint representative for BASF at Industrial Finishes, a major paint distributor. At the time, Chava was an ambitious young painter working at an independent auto body shop. Their shared passion for craftsmanship, color, and cars sparked a friendship that would evolve into a lasting business partnership.
Mike, originally from the Salem area, worked his way up in the collision repair industry. He began as a painter for Dabler Auto Body, a well-respected shop established in 1967, and later purchased it from his former boss, Chuck Dabler. Under Mike’s leadership, Dabler Auto Body has remained a trusted name in the Willamette Valley.
Meanwhile, Chava had become the head painter at NewStage Auto Body in Medford, where he built a reputation for his exceptional work and eye for detail. When that shop was eventually sold to a large multi-shop operator (MSO), the personal, family-owned feel began to fade. That change inspired Chava to pursue a new vision—bringing back the hometown service and quality Medford drivers deserved.
In 2025, the two joined forces to open Rogue Auto Body, blending Mike’s business experience and industry knowledge with Chava’s local roots and unmatched skill in paint and collision repair. With decades of combined experience, they built a shop that puts quality, honesty, and community first.
